Multimedia Creative Direction & Installations — My Work as Creative Director, Studio X
Outside Observer
The Outside Observer is a multimedia short film exploring dissociation and perception during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Co-directed with Benjamin Koshy Jacob, the short film uses looping domestic routines, overhead cinematography, and ambient sound design to position the viewer as an external observer of everyday life.
The film was featured at the Blackwood Gallery.

Quicksand
Inspired by Tracey Emin’s My Bed (1998), Quicksand is an immersive installation exploring the depressive inertia often experienced by university students.
Centered around a disheveled bed surrounded by everyday objects—discarded clothing, food containers, and personal items—the work captures the quiet stagnation of prolonged emotional distress.
By situating the installation in a communal residence space, Quicksand invites viewers to physically circle and confront an often-hidden mental state, prompting reflection, dialogue, and awareness of mental health resources available on campus.

Walk with Reclamation
Installation | Studio X
Walks of Reclamation is a large-scale installation commissioned by The Indigenous Centre and created in collaboration with UofT’s Indigenous community members.
Spanning the full staircase of the Maanjiwe Nendamowinan (MN) Building, the work transformed a transitional campus space into a site of reflection, visibility, and reclamation.
Through its physical scale and placement, the installation invited viewers to move through layered narratives of Indigenous presence, resilience, and continuity, foregrounding Indigenous voices within the everyday rhythms of the university.
